Accupril (Generic)

Accupril (generic) belongs to angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. It is used to treat hypertension and congestive heart failure. Accupril inhibits angiotensin II and relaxes arterial vessels walls, which leads to dilation of arterial lumen and lowering blood pressure. Accupril is also used to prevent kidney failure caused by high blood pressure. It is one of the most prescribed medicines used all over the world.
