DDAVP Spray (Generic)

Generic DDAVP Spray is a synthetic analogue of the natural hormone arginine-vasopressin (antidiuretic hormone). DDAVP Spray has less pronounced effect on smooth muscles of blood vessels and internal organs and more pronounced anti-diuretic activity. The anti-diuretic effect occurs within 30 minutes after drug administration. The intake of 10-20 mg of DDAVP Spray provides the majority of patients with an anti-diuretic effect lasting 8-12 hours

Generic DDAVP Spray is also marketed as Intrataxim and Vasopressin.
