Mirapex (Generic)
Mirapex is a generic used for treating symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, bipolar depression, unipolar depression and Syndrome of restless legs. It has an analogue effect as dopamine, a natural hormone of the body. Low levels of dopamine cause Parkinson’s disease. This medicine also helps to treat periodic limb movement disorder. Side-effects include headache, nausea, insomnia.
At the market, Mirapex is also sold as Sifrol, Mirapexin, and Pramipexole.
