Xalatan (Generic)

Generic Xalatan (latanoprost) is used to reduce the pressure in the eyes. It is prescribed to treat eye disorders including glaucoma and ocular hypertension that may lead to loss of eyesight. The ophthalmologic medication starts working in 3-4 hours after being taken due to intensifying an outflow of aqueous through the uveal tract. It can sometimes change the size of the eye apple. The drug is manufactured in the form of eye drops. Xalatan does not cause a negative effect on producing aqueous humour draining from the eye and blood-aqueous barrier.
